I think you have the option to exclude certain credit cards..especially ones in GOOD ORDER!

If you can do this...that would be GREAT! While in bankruptcy...at least you'll have one account that is good. And trust me my friend...you WANT TO KEEP THIS ONE CURRENT! Meaning no 30 lates!References :

Are you wiping out your debt or consolidating for lower payments? Generally speaking, if credit card debt is the reason you're filing for bankruptcy, then NO, you won't be able to keep the accounts open. Credit card providers aren't going to forgive the debt then allow you to charge up more. If you're consolidating, then once you pay down the balances, the cards may grant you purchasing power again. They may modify the terms (interest rate, credit limit) based on your standing with them at that point.
Bankruptcy should always be an absolute last resort!References :

Credit Card is given based on your credit worthiness.
If the banker knows that you are bankrupt he will not allow your credit cardReferences :

Yes, if you have a card with no balance that you are attempting to wipe off, chances are that you will be able to retain that card.References :

If I claim bankruptcy, will they allow me to keep my credit cards?Hi,
I was just curious if they would allow me to keep my credit cards if I claim bankruptcy...I have one credit card that's paid off but the rest of my debt I'm unable to keep up with. So I wanted to know if there's anyone out there that's able to help me with this. Thank you very much, all answers are appreciated.
