They are rot boxes. … They are rot boxes. I've had 2. Both have been crap. The punto is ok but they fall to bits in no time in bad weather.

  • nikki1669:

789 Dealerships are … 789 Dealerships are closing…I picked the wrong year to buy a foreign car…sorry Chrysler but maybe if you had approved me for that car I was looking at, plus thousands of others you turned down…and what did you idiots spend billions of Gov't money on in 2 months???!!!!!! You get what you give, I wonder when those company jets are going to go up for auction? I'm gonna buy one and put a Kia sticker on it :)

  • twizatch:

It's not even the … It's not even the case of being spoiled. Our country is too large, with a spread out populous, and with too much coast to coast commerce to just get rid of all the trucks and suvs. In Europe or Japan it is feasible.

Big cities in the US is the ONLY place this will work. And that is still limited.

  • 99cachorro:

you are totally … you are totally right, this will all blow up soon and they will be cutting firewood for a living

  • 99cachorro:

so many spoiled … so many spoiled americans. you will if you have too. never say never

  • twizatch:

then why are they … then why are they not selling?

    America wants/needs trucks and suvs.

btw… i'll let you drive a family of 4 with luggage from michigan to south carolina for a vacation in a fiat. I certainly wont do it.

  • 99cachorro:

of course smaller … of course smaller cars can be used for the family car. Just look at the cars used in japan now (600cc or smaller motors) the cars you spoke of are just too expensive for the average person unless they both still have their jobs and are paid well. No one has to lie about the cost of smaller cars that fiat will bring here. I live part time in brasil and I can tell you the prices are affordable.

  • FluxCapacitor2008:

    lynxlea

    You should … lynxlea

You should try to better yourself, instead of crying about how some one is getting a loan. It is their tax money also and at 8 dollars an hour VS $78 they pay more taxes then you anyway.

  • twizatch:

"we need these cars … "we need these cars here in the usa" ???

Don't be so sure about that. There is a ridiculous overstock on prius's, cobalts, etc beyond 200+ days!!! The ONLY reason why these cars are occasionally popular is if gas prices are raised over 3.50 a gallon.

The public in general do not want those cars. It is a proven fact. Don't listen to lying congressman who say what they want and pass it off as the general consensus.

Families CANNOT have those cars as a family car. It just isnt possible.

  • lynxlea:

Why people in … Why people in Wal-Mart earn $8/hour have to pay tax to support the UAW to earn $78/hour?

Why American tax payers have to pay for UAW's laziness and greediness?

  • 99cachorro:

fiat cars are … fiat cars are usually small economy cars. we need these cars here in the usa. to say they are un-reliable is rediculas.

  • FkyGGGG:

Neil Cavuto = Da' … Neil Cavuto = Da' Man!

  • boots920:

Symptoms of a fiat … Symptoms of a fiat money system that has been manipulated for almost a hundred years.

The thing will sound money (precious metal backing) is you can't manipulate the market the way they are now.
People would have been calling in for their physical gold a long time ago. Too much trust in the paper, who does the pensioner complain to , the wall, because the mouth breathers aren't listening. This is where the 2nd comes in.

  • ginaswo:

the senior … the senior debtholders also represent taxpayers and retirees and workers who hold shares in those bonds representing all the billions they loaned Chrysler under contracts binding under the Constitution. if the govt is allowed to arbitrarily reconfigure the seniority structure of bonds that market will cease to exist, thus lending will stop and no one will have a job

  • smilingseal:

Why do republicans … Why do republicans and Hedge Fund huggers, think workers having a stake in the company they work for, is not the American way?

Why do these talking heads love to demonize us, the hard working american people, and love to snuggle with the hedge fund.

This is not about Fiat, or Chrysler, or cars…This is about some paper money tigers , getting away with continue outsourcing, sending our jobs to slave labor countries without much standards…

so that they can make an extra 50 cents.
