continued- My … continued- My finances since the divorce were still “OK”, but some months I just paid minimum payments on some cards to meet budget. It took 6 years for my balances to “sneak” up above $20K. Now, even though I pay triple the minimum payment they still soak up THOUSANDS A YEAR in interest and fees. For the 25+ years I … For the 25+ years I was married we ALWAYS paid full balances of our CC’s every month. Cards were convenient and perfect for record keeping. Putting the kids through college, paying for 2 weddings, everything went on the cards. We STILL paid full balances every month. For over a quarter century CC’s were wonderful and didn’t cost us anything. I know it CAN be done because I did it. Now, following a lengthy divorce my CC balances slowly grew to $20K plus. NOW I “get it”! They’re sharks…

Everyone.
Take that credit card and cut it up.
Call them and cancel the account.
Dont just stop useing it because they are working on a new penalty charge for “NOT USING” your card.
they will crap themselves when 40 million people call them up.. Then they wont have a choice but to fix it. Its as easy as that…
I declare March 1st 2010 the day we all call your card Co and take control.. pass it on.
